"Only those who try to resist temptation know how strong it is."
- C.S.Lewis
Hay hoo.. It's been a long time since I write in this blog. I wonder how long it has been. LOL. Today I want to share something that I just found today. Quite interesting for me.
Let's say it like this: You struggle for some addicting sin, and you want to be released from it. Now I know that those kind of struggles cannot be overcame easily, but that doesn't mean we have to take forever to get over it, right? Sometimes, we just eventually gave up and keep doing the same thing over and over again. When we give up, we'll let those sins lead us, but when we try to be free from it, it might try to force you to get back to it. Imagine when you got tied. When you try to break free, you'll force the chain to break by pulling it, and the chain will become tighter as you pull it, until you are free, whether you got your own hands broken or the chain's broken. Then, you'll know the full strength of the chain, and you'll know that you can overcome those "chains" with your power. The same thing goes with your struggle and problems. When you try to be free from it, it will try to get you back to do the same thing. You can be free with a little bit "wounded" from the struggle or the struggle itself broke. Then, you'll know how strong it is, and you'll see that even though it's so strong, you can overcome it.
So, how's your struggling? Did you still trying to break free, or did you just give up and do what it wants you to do?
