Chapter 12:1-25
Some of us will think when we see a disabled-person. Some will say,"How poor is that person. I bet he can do nothing". But, don't you ever think that God's Power is more that what we can imagine? He even uses those disabled-person (or at least for us) to succeed His plan. They're not disabled, they just have their own way to do the same stuff as us. They're differently-abled person, means that they are able to do stuff like other normal people do, but in different way. How Great is Our God to have such power to do so.
Let us pray for them. Let them being used more by God to succeed His greatest plan for us.

I'm Different, so I'm Wrong?

Alright. I'm just writing this because I inspired by some of my friend's notes, and I decided to write this. Lemme talk to ya about DIFFERENCE.
OK. Each of us has similarity to each other, but not genetically. I mean, there is no man that have the exact similarity as the other have, not even twins. There are so called,"DIFFERENCE". Differences makes people unique, and God created people with different character, style, physical appearance, way of think, and many more in order to make us work together with each other and create something best from those differences. It's a good one. Yeah really. It's good. But, in reality, many people can't accept differences, especially if those differences are opposing their ideology. OK. Let's say that I have a friend, let's called 'em Jake, and he have a different thought than me, and it's opposing my thinking. In order to create great result of a project, we need to unite those thoughts. If I don't like it, I can simply rejected it, and create my own version. Of course the result may be not so great. But, if I try to accept that, even though it's opposing my idea, but when we combine it, it can make a great result of those project. See? That's how difference works.
Still, why are there so many people that can't accept differences? I don't know. They say,"You're different. You can't be with us". Is that wrong to be different? Is that wrong to have the different thought, but helpful? Do you think that you alone can solve every problem in this world? Think again.

DHCP (Dynamic Host Control Protocol)

Hello again. Aku balik lagi ke rubrik Debian Configuration. Kali ini saya akan membahas tentang DHCP dan cara konfigurasi di Debian.
DHCP (Dynamic Host Control Protocol) adalah protokol yang digunakan untuk memberikan IP Address secara otomatis kepada komputer client. Ini sangat memudahkan kita, apalagi yang mempunyai jaringan yang cukup besar, untuk bisa men-setting IP secara otomatis hanya dari server tanpa harus men-setting satu - satu IP dari komputer client. Cara ini juga digunakan untuk internet cafe yang menyediakan fasilitas Hotspot (WiFi). Berikut akan saya jelaskan bagaimana membuat DHCP Server dengan menggunakan OS Debian Lenny (5.0).
1. Install Application Package untuk DHCP Service.
#apt-get install dhcp3-server
2. Edit script dhcpd.conf
#nano /etc/dhcp3/dhcpd.conf
Dalam script tersebut, ada banyak sekali isinya, kan? Nah, yang akan kita edit hanya sebagian saja. Cari bagian script seperti dibawah ini, kemudian edit sesuai keperluan. Anggap saja server kita mempunyai IP 192.168.1.1 dan kita akan menyewakan mulai dari 192.168.1.2 - 192.168.1.6. Setiap Client akan mendapatkan informasi berupa DNS Server (10.0.0.1). Edit script tersebut seperti ini:
#a slightly different configuration for an internal subnet.
subnet 192.168.1.0 netmask 255.255.255.240 {
range 192.168.1.2 192.168.1.6;
option domain-name-servers 10.0.0.1;
option domain-name "ago.com"
option routers 10.0.0.1;
option broadcast-address 192.168.1.7;
default-lease-time 800;
max-lease-time 7200;
}
Ctrl+O untuk save dan Ctrl+X untuk exit.
3. Restart daemon dari DHCP3
#/etc/init.d/dhcp3-server restart
4. Coba kita cek di bagian client. Jika client mendapatkan IP otomatis, dan dapat terhubung dengan DNS server, maka DHCP telah bekerja dengan baik.

It's Every Man's Struggle

Well OK. Good morning, fellas. In this post, I'd like to share something. Something that (maybe) you already know this, but I know that you still struggling with this. It's the porn temptation.
A couple days ago, I got nothing to do, and so I was searching some nice video from The Disciples (rapper group from Indonesia. Rapping for Jesus Christ). Then, I found this video. I found this song that told about every man's struggle. Yes, we struggling in the same thing. As a man, we always struggling with pornography. It says that 78% of men struggling with porn, and 72% of them considered religious. OK, you can say that you're religious. Learning about Bible and serving God every day. But, when you alone, what did you do? Did you watching porn or what? Once you fall for it, it's hard to let go. When you try to release yourself, you'll end up fall to the same thing again and again and again. If you really wish to be free, try this steps:
So, gentlemen, do you think that you've good enough? Think again.
"Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body so that you obey its evil desires. Do not offer any part of yourself to sin as an instrument of wickedness, but rather offer yourselves to God as those who have been brought from death to life; and offer every part of yourself to him as an instrument of righteousness. For sin shall no longer be your master, because you are not under the law, but under grace."

True Friends

Alright. In this post, I'd like to share something that called "True Friends".
Every people in this world cannot live only by themselves. People need each other to be their friends. Friends is to help us, to warn us, to laugh with us, to cry with us, to do some stuff together, and so on. You must be crazy to think that,"I don't need any friends. I can do it myself." or "Friends only bring troubles and I don't like troubles". Yeah, people don't like troubles, even me hates troubles. But, friends are not trouble. They'll help you when you need them, and they'll give you advice for some stuff. That's why we need friends. We may have a hard time in dealing any differences between us, but as the time passed, we can handle it, and we can change differences into powers to overcome anything in this world. I know one thing: whenever we face troubles and we think we can't make it, we're not alone. We got friends to help us. Even if you think you don't have any friends in the world, you still have Jesus. So, do you still feel like forever alone? Think again. :)

DNS (Domain Name System)

Hello again. Setelah beberapa hari absen karena kesibukan (maklum anak kuliahan lagi ujian juga. Akakakak :P), akhirnya saya bisa menulis lagi di blog saya ini. Hhe. Malam ini saya akan menulis tentang konfigurasi DNS (Domain Name System) Server. Sebenarnya, apa sih DNS itu?
DNS adalah Domain Name System, yaitu dimana IP Address diterjemahkan kedalam karakter - karakter khusus yang gampang diketikkan pada keyboard komputer. DNS ini digunakan pada website untuk men-generate nama - nama website tersebut. Contoh saja google.co.id, yahoo.co.id, facebook.com, blogger.com, dsb. Wujud asli dari semuanya adalah berupa IP Address, tetapi pasti akan sangat ribet jika kita harus mengetikkan angka - angka yang sulit untuk dihafal biar kita bisa mengakses suatu website yang kita suka, kan? Karena itu dikembangkanlah teknologi DNS ini untuk memudahkan kita mengakses suatu website tanpa harus capek - capek menghafal IP Address dari setiap website yang ada. :) Tanpa menunggu lama lagi, langsung saja kita pada langkah - langkah pembuatannya.
Sekedar info saja, operating system yang saya pakai disini adalah Linux Debian Lenny (5.0)
1. Install software package untuk DNS Server ini. Berikut command-nya:
#apt-get install bind9 ----> aplikasi untuk DNS server
2. Konfigurasi script named.conf. Script named.conf ini berisi informasi nama domain yang kita inginkan dan informasi IP Address yang di-redirect ke domain tersebut. Misalkan saja kita akan membuat nama domain "www.ago.com". Begini caranya:
#nano /etc/bind/named.conf
edit script tersebut menjadi seperti berikut:
zone "ago.com"{
type master;
file "/etc/bind/ago";
};
zone "0.0.10,in-addr.arpa"{
type master;
file "/etc/bind/10";
};
Jika sudah selesai, tekan Ctrl+O untuk save dan Ctrl+X untuk keluar.
3. Gantilah nama file "db.local" dan "db.127" dengan nama yang tertera pada "named.conf".
#cp /etc/bind/db.local /etc/bind/ago
#cp /etc/bind/db.127 /etc/bind/10
4. Edit ulang script "ago" dan "10".
#nano /etc/bind/ago
Di script ini, ganti semua kata localhost menjadi nama domain kita, dalam kasus ini ganti menjadi ago.com, kemudian edit scriptnya menjadi seperti ini:
@ IN NS ago.com.
@ IN A 10.0.0.1
www IN A 10.0.0.1
#nano /etc/bind/10
Sama seperti diatas, rubah semua kata localhost menjadi nama domain kita, dan edit script ini menjadi seperti berikut:
@ IN NS ago.com.
1 IN PTR ago.com.

Angka 1 ini adalah batas IP yang akan direverse. lebih jelasnya mari kita lihat kembali settingan named.conf:
zone "0.0.10.in-addr.arpa"{
type master;
file "/etc/bind/10";
};
Angka "0.0.10" diatas merupakan batas network yang direverse dari 10.0.0, lalu pada file 10(reverse) ditambahkan 1 untuk melengkapi alamat reverse dari domain kita. Ini juga bisa digunakan bila kita mempunyai beberapa domain dalam satu network tersebut, jadi misalkan saja kita ingin membuat www.ago.com dan mus.ago.com, bisa saja diketik seperti ini:
pada file /etc/bind/ago:
@ IN NS ago.com.
@ IN A 10.0.0.1
www IN A 10.0.0.1
mus IN A 10.0.0.1
dan pada file /etc/bind/10:
@ IN NS ago.com.
1 IN PTR ago.com. -------> ini untuk www.ago.com

#nano /etc/resolv.conf
search ago.com
nameserver 10.0.0.1
6. Restart daemon dari Bind agar DNS Server dapat bekerja.
#/etc/init.d/bind9 restart
Untuk mengetes apakah DNS kita telah berjalan kita lakukan perintah ping:
#ping ago.com
Jika terdapat balasan, maka DNS server kita telah bekerja dengan baik.
