My Log #8: "Will Play Piano For God"

 I was asking this to my fellow musicians,"What is your reason to play music?". Some of them said that they do it just because they like it. The other said that they were given tasks to play, and some other do it because it can increase their cleverness, etc. There are a few of my fellow musicians (especially the worshipers) who told me that they play music for God, to praise the Lord. Then I thought to myself. I asked it to myself,"What is your reason to play music?". It's true that I love music, and I love piano. I always admire the pianist since high school, and I always do my best to increase my skill in piano. But then, I realize something. If I just want to be a great pianist without knowing the true meaning of music, it meaningless. But when I realize it, I know that it will become more than just a music. It could become an offering to God. When I play to praise the God, I can let all out to the heart content, and put all of my emotions in it, so I can praise and pray to the Lord through my songs, and because of that, I've found my quote:

"WILL PLAY PIANO FOR GOD"

That's right. I play piano not only because I was gifted, not just because I like it, but I play piano to praise the Lord, to pray to the Lord, and to give my own "offerings" to the God Jesus Christ through the songs that I played.

So musicians, what is your reason to play music?

God's Word : Ask for Wisdom

In our daily life, we always have troubles, whether it's in our study, work, social life, family, etc. We always face the troubles that (sometimes) we think it's hard to be solved. It might be a test of faith (verse 1-3). We might upset with what we face, and we might always give up to the situation. But, if we want to stay calm and ask God for wisdom, we can overcome everything. Only one thing that required: Strong Faith. We need a strong faith to ask to God, and believe that He will make a way for everything.
This Words of God really give me a spirit to face the Exam that will be held starting today. I have so many fear about the examination, but one thing I believe that God will give wisdom to who was asking Him. Strengthen your Faith in Him, and He'll give you the Wisdom for every of your problem.

"Keep calm and ask God for Wisdom. That's the only way to solve the problem."

My Log #7: "Are You Ready?"

"The time is drawing nearer. Have you prepared everything for this battle?"

The book and the papers are scattered everywhere. They contain many writings of formulas, codes, theories, etc. Somebody is looking at each books and papers, try to remember each words that written in it. Yes, this is it. This is the time. The time for Final Examination.
There are many people try their best not to get any short semester this year, considering the Mid-Exam was horrible, and many of them do their best to "survive" this exam. I do, in fact, have the same spirit, even though I still have the same laziness due to the hard learning material. But even so, I'll do my best not to repeat the same material again. Let's fight for the victory!!!

My Log #6: "What do you really want?"

Some friend of mine asked me to accompany him to go to the church. Well because I had already went to the church this morning, and I got something to do, so I rejected it immediately. Then, he said,"Hmm is there nobody who wants to go to church with me? I don't wanna go alone. It's feels no fun if I go alone." Now hold up. For what reason will you go to church? Is it because you have friends to go there, so if you don't have any friends to accompany you, then you won't go? Is it that the music is very nice?(Well, I am a musician, and I'll be mad if the music for the worship was being done "half-heart"ed). Don't you understand the true meaning of worship? Please open your eyes already. =_="
The preach from the church today really giving me an inspiration while writing this post. The followers of Jesus was being criticized by their own Master. Why? Most of them just follow Jesus because they just want what did they see, for example the healing to the ill, or the sign from the 5 loaves of bread and 2 fishes. They just think,"He can give me the bread that can satisfy me. I'll follow Him to get more, so I don't have to work to get food." Then, Jesus speak about the Bread of Life, which is the Words that come from the God Himself. But then they deserted Him because they feel like they don't get anything they want.
We as a human do have some needs for worldly matters, such as food, clothes, money, etc. But, Jesus once said in Deuteronomy 8:3 which teaches us that man does not live on bread alone but on every word that comes from the mouth of the LORD. That means we don't really live with only the physical stuff, but every words that comes from God is the one who's keeping us on our track. If we want the answers for our prayers, read the Bible, and try to understand it. If you are a real Christian, go to church to get any God's Words is the main priority of all.

My Log #5: So you think you know it all?

Alright. You know what? I've been sick with those words. They think that they were right from the start. They just think that they know more than the others, so they think they can freely scolding people and telling people that they know nothing. Yet, if you don't take their advice, they will alienate you, and keep talking about their ideology that (actually) wrong. I'm sick with them. They don't want to be criticize by the others, yet they criticize the other people mistakes. Just what is your problem? We have our own lack of ability. We do learn, but don't you ever think that you can do everything, and yet you can scold people like they can't do anything like you do. Don't be a stubborn. Listen to what other people was saying.

My Log #4: "Be careful with what you wished to know...."

One of human's behavior that always occur almost all the times is curiosity. Yes, curiosity. We always curious of something we interested in, including secrets. There are many things that we must know, and it would turn out bad if we don't know a single thing about it, but sometimes, there are things that would be best if it was kept undiscovered. But well, we just can't control ourselves and become curious about anything. We won't be able to sleep until we heard those secrets into the very detail. Just like I said before that it won't give any effect to the future, unless you do something about it. For example: coincidentally, you discovered about some conspiracy that occurred in a country. After you discover that, you spread it to the public, so they know about it. Well, of course it's a good choice to do, because the society must know about it. But everything has a price to pay. You might be alienated by the society because they think you're crazy, or the one who kept this secret will hunt your head to erase the track. Same thing can occur to something that you shouldn't know, but when you do, you'll pay the price for that too. For example: you have a crush on a girl, and suddenly, the girl has already had a boyfriend. You try to ask here who is that "lucky-bastard", but she won't tell you. You forced her to tell about him to you until she was angry with you. You might get the secret that you want, but it cost your good relationship between you and her. Isn't that bad? Well, you might knows everything, but if you don't have any idea about how to deal with that or you handle it in a wrong way, then it gives you a bad impression. Be careful with what you wish to know. You might hurt yourself..... and the others.

My Log #3: The Heart That Frozen

They laughing, they talking, they partying, they do stuff together. But someone isn't there. Yes. The one that usually hang out with them, now concealing himself in his own room. He realize something. Something that will change his way of thinking and behaving. He realize that they don't really need him. They just need something from him. Something that they need to achieve their goal. When they've done with him, they'll dump him in some 'smooth' way. Well, scumbag, isn't it? But the truth is that. He become frozen in his heart and his mind. He became a quiet person. Won't speak unless it's really needed. How come people like these exist? They who 'used' people like a tools, and they who being 'frozen' because of the cruel reality? Isn't there anyone who can give him 'warm' hug to melt his heart? I don't know. Only God knows the way to change everything.

My Log #2: "Wake up, bro. It's morning."

Well, new day, new stuff (or so I think). It might be the same as the other days. So, nothing really matter, huh?
Anyway, somebody told be about "Special Day". What is special day for you? He said that special day is when he can share stuff with people. Well, I get it. We feel like it's something special when we can spend some of our time with people around us. Hmm I see.
Have a "Close Friends" is good, but what I see is they're not even close enough to be called "Close Friends".  Some of them become this "Close Friends" just because they need something. Once they get it, they're leaving. Well, the truth is I won't tolerate people like this. Don't you believe in people. They might be stabbing you from behind without you noticing. You may trust them, but don't believe in them. Believe in God Jesus Christ. He will provide everything that's best for you. It's not like I suggesting you to not befriend with people, but I just want to say that human has its own limit. Don't you really trust them, for they can only do a few.

Story of Our Life

It's a story about various men who try to survive in this cruel world. They try their best to get out of their problem, and they do their best to live a good life. There are not just happy stories, but also sad stories. They're not just laughing and smiling, but they also crying. They No one only lives a happy life nor a sad life. Everyone has their own story when they laughing, they're smiling, sad, crying, getting angry, upset, jealous, etc. You might not have a good story as a fairy tale, but on thing that I can be sure of: You are the Protagonist. This is your story. This is the story about you, which the story is being written by God. But still, you can decide your own storyline for your life, whether you want to follow God's order or to rebel against Him. It's your choice.

My Log #1: It's just like the other day.

Another day with another challenge (like DeStorm said on almost all of his video). But, although today is a different day than yesterday and tomorrow is different than today, it feels like nothing really different though. We still wake up in the morning, eat breakfast, go to the class, go to our organization's activity once the class ended, get back to the dorm after our business in the organization over. That's it. Nothing really special to be told or to be shared. You just met people all around you, but no one seems to be friendly enough to talk to you, to share stuff with you, or to care for each other. They just take care of themselves. It's hard to say, but I think that they don't really care about who's in trouble with who. They just want to get to their own "comfort area" so they can sit tight while enjoying a cup of tea. To be honest, I don't want to deal with this kind of people. I'd rather alone with God than to face those who act like they're right in all aspect of life. Well, dang it. I'm out. See ya.

What Is A Friend?

Everybody has a friend, right? I bet nobody have no friends at all. :)
You know? Do you ever think about your friends? Do you ever think about their motives in befriending with you? Do you think that all of your friends have the right motivation in their friendship with you? Let me tell you one thing. Don't be naive. As long as there are good, there are evil. There are friends who really want to befriend with you, but there are also friends who just want to use you for their own sake. Do you ever feel or think like that?
